Reese loves horses and longs to have her own that she can train with to enter competitive jumping events. Her parents don't have the money to buy a horse, and she is tired of being stuck with "Boots" an older horse who lacks the spirit needed for Reese to win. With the help of her grandpa, she decides to purchase a wild horse at an auction, but is outbid by another rancher. She then makes a terrible discovery about the plans the rancher has for her dream horse.
