Greg is back in a new middle school adventure. This time he's trying to find a date to the school's Valentine's day dance, but as you would expect, things are never easy for Greg.  Each time he comes up with a plan to ask a girl, something happens to spoil his plans.  In the end, he and Rowley decide to go as a group, but even then, the evening doesn't turn out quite like Greg had planned!
