Tom is only 10 years old, but he has earned the nickname, The Great Brain. Tom is an expert at using his great brain to solve problems, but usually also manages to use it to his advantage.  Saving lost boys, helping the new student at school, saving a child's life...all seem like Tom should be treated as a hero.  But somehow, he always manages to walk away with some monetary reward.
