One Crazy Summer

Delphine, Vonetta, and Fern are going on a cross country adventure to get to know their mother.  All they have are stories of the woman they know only as Cecile.  Cecile left the girls and moved to Oakland, CA and now their father thinks it's time for them to visit.  Cecile isn't at all what they expect and doesn't seem to be interested in being much of a mother, but Delphine is determined to make the best of it.  She had visions of a trip to Disneyland, but quickly realizes that's not going to be part of this trip.  But maybe, just maybe, the girls can still have a good time.
